Feathers Hotel is a hotel and historical inn opposite The Bull Hotel in Ludlow, southern Shropshire, England. Built in 1619 by a local lawyer named Rees Jones, it is a Tudor-style half-timbered building, and is noted for its Jacobean furnishings. It is a Grade I listed building, listed on 15 April 1954, and is one of approximately 500 listed buildings in Ludlow, but one of its best known. The timber facaded hotel has motifs of ostrich feathers and hence the name "Feathers Hotel," which was designed initially as a private home by Rees Jones, an attorney. ... weniger

For the first time, author John Humphries reveals the fate of the man, first mentioned as a member of the New Orleans Greys, who fought for Texan Independence at the Alamo and narrowly escaped execution at the Goliad Mission. Later, Rees was one of the main agitators in the doomed Welsh Chartist movement. Twenty-two men died during the Chartist attack upon the Westgate Hotel when a detachment from the 45th Regiment of Foot, hidden behind the hotel's shuttered windows, discharged their muskets into the crowd. For waging war against the monarch, thirteen of the Chartist leaders were indicted for high treason in the last great show trial in British legal history, while Rees escaped back to the American West. An eighteen-month French judicial investigation concluded in 1999 that the car crash that killed Diana was caused by Paul, who lost control of the car at high speed while intoxicated and under the influence of antidepressants.Since February 1998, Dodi's father, Mohamed Al-Fayed (the owner of the Hôtel Ritz, for which Paul worked) has claimed that the crash was a result of a conspiracy, and later contended that the crash was orchestrated by MI6 on the instructions of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Hotel Radisson Blu Zürich Flughafen
Grund:
Wir hatten gute zwanzig Stunden Aufenthalt und suchten deswegen nach einer sauberen, komfortablen, nach Möglichkeit preisgünstigen Unterkunft nicht weit weg vom Züricher Flughafen. Nach einer Woche Griechenland wollten wir zumindest hier nicht auf einen gewissen Komfort verzichten...

Unser Hotel in Berlin
Pro: Frühstück!!

...Hallo liebe Ciao Community,
Vor Kurzem war ich mit meiner Mutter in Berlin. Da wir nicht nur einen Tagesausflug planten, suchten wir nach einem bezahlbaren Hotel in der Nähe vom Kurfürstendamm, da meine Mutter dort einen Termin hatte.
Entschieden haben wir uns dann für das Agon Franke Hotel und über das möchte ich heute berichten.
