Weit gefehlt..den Disturbed heben sich von der Masse ab und ziehen ihr eigenes Ding durch. Da sie auch schon ein erfolgreiches zweites Album präsentierten sind sie längst über den Status der Eintagsfliege hinaus und wurden von Kritikern nicht umsonst gelobt.

Geballte Power gibt?s direkt vom ersten Track an. Nicht nur durch Draiman?s Gebrülle... das Schlagzeug hämmert und die Gitarren dröhnen. Aber der Sänger brüllt nicht sinnlos vor sich hin, abwechslungsreich sind so gut wie überall wenigstens kleine Gesangs-Passagen eingearbeitet. Was Disturbed zu einem echten Highlight macht. Diese soll ähnlich aufgebaut sein wie Second Life, man kann also per Konsole mit zahlreichen Menschen in Kontakt treten, einkaufen usw.
Doch auch ohne diese Möglichkeiten bin ich bisher absolut begeistert von diesem Gerät. Das viele Geld hat sich in meinen Augen absolut gelohnt, denn mit der PS3 erhält man ein absolutes Multitalent, das nicht nur unglaublich viele Möglichkeiten bietet und die Vorteile von PC und Konsole in sich vereint, sondern auch noch komfortabel zu bedienen ist. Ska-Core the Devil and more!-!ÜBERARBEITET!-
Pro: fröhlicher und gut durchdachter Ska-Core, eine der besten Bosstones Cd's
Kontra: Hmmmm...nicht das ich wüsste
...So, nun muss ich doch wirklich mal dieser Meinung zu mehr als einer schäbigen Lesung verhelfen. Quasi mein Sorgenkind, deswegen werde ich diese jetzt mal komplett überarbeiten und auf den neusten Stand bringen.
Mit dem vierten 1994 erschienenden Album " Question the answers " ist den Bosstones ein grandioses Ska-Core Album gelungen, dass in Qualität, sowie Spritzig-und Tanzbarkeit seinesgleichen sucht.
Wie gewohnt schaffen es die 8 Mitglieder der Bosstones bei allen 12 Tracks 3rd Skawave Tunes mit härteren Beats ( Punk ) zu mischen ohne etwas von der Fröhlichkeit, die Ska ausmacht einzubüssen. Die Ohrwurmqualitäten der einzelnen Tracks sollte man somit nicht unterschätzen. Und zu der geil versoffenen und verrauchten Stimme von Dicky Barret, dem Sänger der Combo braucht man ja nicht wirklich viel zu sagen...naja, jedenfalls wenn man...

...Diesen Film sollte jeder Mensch gesehen haben...

Die ?Ausstattung? von DVD (und Blu-ray) unterstreicht, dass ?Collapse? zum Auswurf der Filmgeschichte gehört: Mit Trailer und Bildergalerie wird man abgespeist.
Unschuldig sind ?Insane Mike? & Co. übrigens am selten dämlichen deutschen Titel des Films: Was soll denn ein ?Collapse of the Living Dead? sein? ?Collapse? gibt im Original knapp, präzise und unheilverkündend die Richtung der Geschichte vor. Das ?? of the Living Dead? belegt den dreisten Versuch, hierzulande zwar für debil gehaltene aber solvente Zuschauer/Käufer an die Zombie-Angel zu nehmen. Wer sich auf typischen Därme-raus-Horror gefreut hat, dürfte solche Manipulation anschließend mit einer Ächtung des verantwortlichen Labels und seiner Filme ahnden.

ist ein sehr gutes und stylisches Urban Musik
Magazin.Jeder der sich für R'n'B,Soul oder Funk
interessiert ist hier an der richtigen Stelle.
Sozusagen gewährt The Soul einen tiefen Einblick
in "the deepest Soul of black music".
Mit den verschiedenen Themen:
Musik,Classic,Fashion,Reviews,News,und der CD-Beilage
(mehr dazu später) ist der Umfang des Heftes
ziemlich groß.
Bei den Musik Beiträgen werden z.B. Interviews
mit Newcomern im Musik Geschäft geführt oder
Berichte über Soul Größen ,wie z.B. Usher,Joe,
Boyz II Men,Mya...,abgedruckt ,welche sehr
gut geschrieben sind und oft ein Ausmaß von bis zu

Das Ende einer Ära
Pro: ein würdiger Abschluss der Kollaboration von Barry & Bond
Kontra: Diese Filmmusik war die letzte Musik zu einem Bond - Film, die aus der Feder von John Barry stammt
..., Barry war eine Institution.
Barrys Soundtrack zu "The Living Daylights" zieht den Schlussstrich unter die Erfolgsgeschichte des Duos Barry & Bond. Nach rund einem Vierteljahrhundert ging Barrys Lizenz zum Tönen nacheinander an Michael Kamen, Eric Serra und schließlich an den amtierenden Bond-Komponisten David Arnold.
Arnold hat sich mit seiner Musik zum 1997er Beitrag der Serie "Tomorrow never dies" zwar auf Anhieb einen Platz in meinem Herz erspielt, aber trotzdem werden die Bond-Filme für mich untrennbar mit dem Namen John Barry verbunden bleiben. Schade, dass "The Living Daylights" Barrys letzter Bond war ? ein Soundtrack mehr, und es wäre ein Dutzend 007-Soundtracks komplett gewesen, auf denen der Name John Barry steht. "The Living Daylights" ist unter den Bond-Soundtracks der späten 80er der, der mir mit Abstand am besten gefällt...
