Da die Preise der Zigaretten einfach nicht mehr zu bezahlen sind und ich nicht gerne Selber drehe was natürlich auch noch billiger ist
fand ich kürzlich in einem Supermarkt die West Single Packs und entschloss mich diese Mal zu testen.
Verpackung/Inhalt
Die ca. 10cm hohe dose mit einem Durchmesser von etwa 10cm in der Farbe Rot und weiß enthält 120 West Sticks.

Single Packs eine Alternative?
Pro: Preis
Kontra: Zu locker gestopfter Tabak
...Der Tabakwarenhersteller West hat ein neues Pferdchen im Rennen, die West Single Packs, eine quasi vom Staat erzwungene „Neuentwicklung“ um den Preis niedrig halten zu können. Prüfen wir mal die Qualmenden Stäbchen.
Die Verpackung und deren Gestaltung:
Das Design ist im vom Tabak bekannten Outfit käuflich, die Single Packs (also die späteren Zigaretten) werden in einer Dose mit Vakuumverschluß und Plastikdekel zum Wiederverschließen in den Handel gebracht.
Inhalt / Preis:
In jeder Dose Single Packs befinden sich 120 Stück oder 80 Gramm Tabak, der zum Preis von 7,95 Euro zum Rauchwilligen in die gute Stube kommt.
Sonstiges Zubehör:
Um die Single Packs rauchfertig zu machen sind noch Filterhülsen nötig, West empfiehlt hier natürlich die aus der eigenen Produktion, ich kaufe „billige“ von Goldf...

Pro: Sieht gut aus ...
Kontra: fast alles
...Was neues ?..John Player Special Single Pack rot. Da geh ich letztens neue Ziggys hohlen uns was sehen meinen Augen da die Packung genau vor meiner Nase. Erst dachte ich mir, fällt denen eigentlich nur das eine ein weil es einer vor gemacht hat? Aber irgendwie hat mich die Packung einfach nicht mehr los gelassen. Und als ich dann den Preis gesehen hab war klar die musst du jetzt auch noch probieren damit du wieder was Neues zu schreiben hast. Also bin ich kurz bevor ich die Tür bei meiner Tankstelle raus bin noch mal zurück und hab mir davon auch noch eine geben lassen. Jetzt und Heute weiß ich das hätte ich besser sein lassen sollen. Kaum zu Hause hab ich mir auch gleich eine Zigarette damit gemacht und beim Qualmen auch gleich bei Ciao geguckt ob das das Produkt nicht gibt bei Ciao. Aber nu zu Single Pack selber

Da bleib ich Single, mit den west Single Packs

Aufgrund der Erhöhung der Tabaksteuer wurde mir das rauchen trotz meines nur mäßigen Konsums doch etwas teuer, darum habe ich entschieden meine Glimmstängel wie einige meiner Bekannten auch selber zu fertigen. Make your own........WEST SINGLE PACK

...Hallo liebe Leser,
Ich bin schon seit langem Raucher. Und irgendwann denkt man auch, o gott wie teuer ist die Schachtel WEST wieder geworden. Aber ich kaufe mir sie dann trotzdem wieder. Doch auch ich habe seit fast einem Monat die WEST SINGLES PACKS ausprobiert. Für die Jenigen die das Prinzip noch nicht kennen: Man kauft eine Dose WEST Singles Packs für momentan 9,45EURO. In so einer Dose sind immerhin 120 Stück enthalten. Weiter holt man sich eine Packung WEST-Hülsen, die 1,49EURO kosten. Zu guter Letzt braucht man nur noch den WESTMARKER, sieht wie ein Kugelschreiber aus mit der Aufschrift "Westmaker".
Das Prinzip ist ganz einfach. Man nimmt eine Single Pack(diese unfertige Zigarette in einer weißen hülle) und steckt diese in eine Westhülse. Vorne schaut dann noch so ein wenig davon heraus. Mit dem Westmaker hält man...

Als überzeugte Lucky Strike Raucherin war ich erstmal richtig empört über den Vorschlag meines Freundes mal die West Single Packs (im Weiteren nur WSP), also Stopfzigaretten auszuprobieren. Der Grund hierfür lag in der wiederholten, absolut unverschämten Preiserhöhung und meinen 1 ½ Päckchen am Tag?
Okay, bin ja nicht zickig, Widerspruch wäre sinnlos gewesen, er hatte die runde Frischedose mit 120 Single Packs, 200 Filterhülsen und den ?west maker?, eine art Stift zum stopfen dabei.
Hier erstmal die Preise, dann geht?s weiter mit der Bastelstunde:
West Single Pack (120er Box) 8,45? (9,25?)
200 Filterhülsen (z.B. West) 1,85?
West Maker 1,95?
Zeitaufwand:
Mit etwas Übung 60 Zigaretten in 15min. Eine einzelne geht ruck zuck, wie erkläre ich auch sofort...

~ Next ~
Pro: Spannender Roman, der nichts beschönigt und zum Nachdenken anregt
Kontra: Am Anfang etwas langatmig, viele Personen und Nebenhandlungen, nicht für jeden interessant genug
...Das erste Buch, dass ich von Michael Chrichton gelesen habe war ?Jurassic Park? und da ich das Buch noch um einiges toller fand als den Film, von dem ich auch schon sehr begeistert war, folgte nicht lange darauf der zweite Teil ?Vergessene Welt?.
Ich habe es danach immer sehr schade gefunden, dass es nicht auch noch ein drittes Buch gibt, nicht nur weil ich die Thematik so ansprechend gefunden habe, sondern weil es mir wahnsinnig viel Spaß gemacht hat, sie zu lesen.
Ich war fasziniert von Chrichtons Schreibweise und die Art wie er seine Bücher aufbaut, dass ich mir fest vorgenommen habe, bald mal wieder ein Buch von ihm zu lesen.
Und als ich dann vor ein paar Monaten in einer Buchhandlung stand und auf das Cover von ?Next? geschaut habe, musste ich das Buch einfach kaufen.

West single packs - empfehlenswert?
Pro: kostengünstig
Kontra: gewöhnungsbedürftig, zeitaufwändig
...Für jeden Raucher stellt sich irgendwann einmal die Frage:
"Sollte ich nicht lieber aufhören zu rauchen, das kann man sich ja kaum noch leisten."
Diese Frage wird besonders in Zeiten steigender Tabaksteuern häufiger aufgeworfen als je zuvor.
Aber jedes Problem hat bekanntlicherweise eine Lösung. In diesem Falle sind es die Zigaretten zum selben machen, bekannt unter dem Namen "West single packs".
Diese Zigaretten werden in den folgenden Zeilen etwas genauer vorgestellt. Allerdings sind einige Bewertungen aus meiner eigenen persönlichen Erfahrung und treffen somit eventuell nicht auf jeden zu. Hier folgt nun also der Vergleich einer "West single pack" Zigarette und einer handelsübrigen Zigarette und ob es sich lohnt, auf "West single packs" umzusteigen.

Single Packs - eine gute Idee!
Pro: Guter Preis, einfache Handhabung
Kontra: Das Papier der Einzelpackung
...Wer starker Raucher ist kennt das Problem. Ich möchte rauchen aber möglichst günstig. Gut die antwort wäre selber drehen! Aber ich zum Beispiel habe nicht die Ruhe und Fingerfertigkeit des drehens. 2. Möglichkeit: Zigaretten rolls, die schmecken mir aber nicht.
Da hat mir die Zigarettenmareke West eine neue Alternative geboten:

So funktioniert es:
Man kauft eine Dose Singele Packs, wovon es zur Zeit 2 verschiedene Sorten gibt(West und West Light)
Zusätzlich braucht man Filterhülsen. Da muss man nicht unbedingt auf die, der Firma West zurückgreifen
Ausserdem benötigt man einmalig den sogenannten Westmaker.
Und natürlich ein Feuerzeug :-)
Und wie bekomme ich jetzt eine Zigarette?
Ich stecke ein Single - Pack in die Hülse. Um das unötige Papier abzukommen, wird jetzt der westmaker am Papier...

West (the best) Single Packs
Pro: Günstiger, schmeckt gut

...Es zeigte sich mal wieder, wie gut es ist Berichte zu lesen. Vor Kurzem entdeckte ich einen Bericht über West - Single Packs. Eigentlich rauche ich bevorzugt Marlboro - Menthol, aber da mein Mann und ich sehr viel rauchen, haben wir vor einiger Zeit beschlossen, das wir für Zuhause unsere
Zigaretten selber drehen. Zusammen kamen wir immer auf ca. 400 Euro im Monat. Das war schon echt happig. Durch das Drehen sparen wir um die 250 Euro. Das machte sich schon sehr bemerkbar.Wir haben auch mittlerweile einen Tabak gefunden, der uns beiden schmeckt, aber es ist halt eine mühselige Arbeit. Was mich jedoch am meisten ärgert, ist das sich der lose Tabak ständig überall verteilt. Also beschloß ich, nach aufmerksamen lesens des Berichtes, die West - Single Packs mal zu probieren.
