With more than 200 hours of film material, Reinhard Kahl has assembled the picture of a possible future. The film was shot during classes and everyday school life, with interviews done with teachers, students, parents and researchers in various parts of Germany. The result: the future has already long since begun in some schools, and the film presents it. At the same time, the gap becomes apparent between it and the often dreary normal school routine. This is still dominated, as the cognitive psychologist Elsbeth Stern notes in the film, by "Easter Bunny" teaching: teachers hide the knowledge, and the students have to look for it. The study also discusses the possibilities for promoting peacebuilding via alternative approaches to history education in this divided society. Using qualitative research, the thesis analyzes selected Turkish-Cypriot and Greek-Cypriot secondary school history textbooks, focusing on the period of 1955-1974 that led to the de facto separation of the island. Additionally, interviews with five educators and researchers from both communities probe their views and visions of nationalistic and pluralistic history education in Cyprus. Findings indicate that the Greek-Cypriot and Turkish-Cypriot school history narratives cultivate nationalistic collective memory and identity and exclude the voice of the other. Ich liebe My Chemical Romance. Es ist wirklich Liebe. Fanatische Hingabe! ;) David Bowie und Michael Jackson sind meine Lieblingssänger - My Chemical Romance sind meine Lieblingsband. Ich kann gar nicht beschreiben, aus welchen emotionalen Löchern sie mich musikalisch wieder herausgezogen haben. Deshalb war ich auch schon auf zwei tollen Konzerten und zu meinen ersten Ciao-Berichten gehörten Berichte über die Maxi-CDs der Band.

For The Fallen Dreams ist eine 5-köpfige Metalcore-Band die 2003 gegründet wurde sie kommt aus aus Michigan/USA. Sie spielen aber nicht nur reinen Metalcore, sondern auch viel Hardcore. Heute schreibe ich wieder einmal einen Filmbericht und zwar über den Film von Jack Black - School of Rock.
Wieso ich gerade über diesen Film schreibe und wie ich zu diesem Film kam.
Da ich ein absoluter Fan von Tenacious D bin wie ihr auch sicher laut meinem Bericht über ein Album von ihnen sehen bzw. lesen konntet dachte ich mir ein Film oder anderst gesagt Movie von Jack Black zu kaufen.
Den Film habe ich mir im Libro für Euro 9,99 gekauft und dieser Preis ist für mich auch ganz in Ordnung.
Wenn ich immer an diese super Szenen von diesem Film denke möchte ich den Film immer wieder ansehen.

Es ist an der Zeit, eine weitere, Beach Boys untypische CD in die endlosen Weiten des Netzes zu stellen. Jedoch werde ich natürlich auch hier probieren, wie dies bei meinem Beach Boys CD Berichten üblich ist, auf alles wichtige einzugehen. Also seit gespannt und lauscht meinen Worten :o)
Waiting for the Sun ist das dritte Studioalbum der Doors, und wurde 1968 herausgegeben. Darauf beweist der Lizard King James Douglas Morrison, wie Jim mit vollem Namen hiess, dass er es wirklich drauf hatte! Musikalisch gesehen ist dieses Album in meinen Augen wie Sgt. Pepper für die Beatles. Für mich hat diese Scheibe die grösste Aussagungskraft und das grösste Charisma alles Alben der Doors. Abgesehen von an american prayer. Dieses kann man aber nicht als reines Doors Album bezeichnen. Doch dazu in einem späteren...
